Louise Mae Tincher, 95, of Hoopeston, passed away at 8:26 p.m., Monday, September 26, 2016, at Heritage Health in Hoopeston.
Mrs. Tincher was born on May 9, 1921, in Watseka, the daughter of Avon and Hazel (Howe) Milar. She married Charles Edward Tincher on April 12, 1941, in Sheldon, Illinois. He preceded her in death on August 22, 2010.
She is survived by three daughters- Linda (Jim) Harmeson of Watseka, Marilyn (Ron) Longfellow of Hoopeston and Sandy (Steve) Dazey of Hoopeston; two sons- Charles (Tina) Tincher and Bill (Karen Bray) Tincher both of Hoopeston; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter- Pat Crews.
Louise enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening and camping. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2016, at Floral Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church or to Heritage Health. According to her wishes cremation rites will be accorded. The family have entrusted the Blurton Funeral Home to assist them in honoring her life.
