Bessie Lowe

Bessie Lowe, 78 of Georgetown, Illinois, passed away Friday, November 24, 2017 at Presence United Samaritan Medical Center in Danville, Illinois.

She was born on January 2, 1939, in Cates, Indiana, the daughter of Harry and Nixola (Cates) Ervin.

Bessie is survived by her son- Harlan Lowe of Georgetown, Illinois; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son- Melvin Lowe; sisters- Betty Brewer and Phyllis Thompson.

Bessie loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.  She was a member of the Georgetown Church of the Nazarene.

According to her wishes cremation rites have been accorded.  There will be a memorial service held at a later date at the Georgetown Church of the Nazarene.   The family has entrusted the Blurton Funeral Home in Hoopeston to assist them in honoring Bessie’s life.
