Constance E. Shaw

Constance E. Shaw, 72, of Tilton, Illinois, passed away peacefully at 10:58 a.m. July 21, 2019, at home with her family by her side.

Constance was born in Danville, on March 15, 1947, to Leonard and Eva Garland.  She graduated from Danville High School, in 1965.  She worked at General Electric, K’s Merchandise and Krupp Presta, retiring in 2012.  On June 4, 1966, she married the love of her life “Bud” Shaw.  He preceded her in death in 2018.

Constance is survived by her two sons-Todd (Kristy) Shaw and Brian (Patty) Shaw; grandchildren- Haley and Jarrett Shaw, Ryan Marrow, Brent Shaw, Nicholas Grant ad Hillary Colon; great-grandchildren- Sophia, Brewer and Baylor Bott.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters and infant daughter-Deana.

Constance enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and she loved to go shopping.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Constance Shaw’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2019, at the United Church of Tilton, with Pastor Darin Perkins officiating.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, at the church.  She will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park.  Memorials may be made to the United Church of Tilton.  The family has entrusted the Blurton Funeral Home to assist them in honoring Constance’s life.  Memorials or condolences may be shared with the family on her everlasting memorial page at:  www.BlurtonFuneralHomes.com.
