Coral Jean Toune

Coral Jean (Collings) Toune, 80, of Conway, AR formerly of Braidwood, Bolingbrook, and St. Anne, IL passed away August 5, 2017.

Mrs. Toune was born August 2, 1937 to Kenneth W. and Jean (Redden) Collings.

She is survived by her husband David L. Toune, whom she married July 21, 1972; Daughters, Monica Gott, Salem, MO, Teresa (Karl) Barber, Hampshire, IL, Dawn (Jeb) Harper, Lee, IL; Sisters, Marianne (Ken, deceased) Winburg, Kaye (William) Miles; Brothers, Kenneth George Collings, Guy (Cathy) Collings, Michael (Janice) Collings, and Kim (Debra) Collings all of Bee Branch, AR; seven grandchildren (granddaughters-in-law(s)), five great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild on the way; numerous nieces and nephews (greats, too), and many more family and friends.

 Preceding her in death were her parents; and nephew Guy Collings,Jr.

 Coral worked at St. Anne Grade School as secretary for thirteen years, twelve of which were along side her father who was Principal, then Superintendent. She also worked as secretary at Frank J. Curran Co. and Hilti.

 Coral was an avid reader, lover of family, friends and a good laugh. She is wholeheartedly missed and will continue to be so.

A Celebration of Life was held in Arkansas on Saturday, June 16th. Interment will be at Bethel Cemetery, Alvin, Illinois.
