Fred Dean Rosenberger

Fred Dean Rosenberger, 77, of Armstrong, passed away at 4:35 p.m. Saturday, November 10, 2018, at Gardenview Manor, in Tilton.

Mr. Rosenberger was born on January 1, 1941, in Champaign, the son of Frederick and Salma (Green) Rosenberger.  He married Sharon Wolfe on December 9, 1966, in Champaign.  She survives.

He is also survived by four daughters- Lori (Kirk) Donovan of Mansfield, Rebecca Rosenberger of Houston, Texas, Sherry Rosenberger of Houston, Texas and Robin Rosenberger of Rantoul; three sons- Wayne Rosenberger of Quincy, Scott Wolfe of Bismarck and Jesse Rosenberger of Armstrong; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister-Peggy (Ron) Eldridge of Homer; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son-Todd Rosenberger, daughter- Diana Strong, two brothers and two sisters.

Fred worked for several years as the manager of Rolling Hills Campground.  He was a member of the Urbana Church of Christ.  Fred was a jack of all trades and could fix anything.  He enjoyed camping, taking care of his chickens, hiking and sightseeing.

According to his wishes cremation rites will be accorded.  He will be laid to rest at a later date in Partlow Cemetery.  The family has entrusted the Blurton Funeral Home to assist them in honoring Mr. Rosenberger’s life.  Memories or photos may be shared with the family on his everlasting memorial page at:  www.BlurtonFuneralHomes.com.
