Gail Vernell Teegarden, 63, of Rossville, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, Illinois.
Gail was born on April 17, 1955, in Great Lakes, Illinois, the daughter of Edward and Joanne (Wilson) Zientek. She married Daniel Teegarden on May 20, 1995 in Cheneyville, Illinois.
She is survived survived by her husband- Daniel Teegarden of Rossville; two daughters- Ruby Andaracua of Manassas, Virginia and Kayla Teegarden of Rossville; four grandchildren; two brothers- Edward Zientek of Champaign, Illinois and Martin Zientek of Mahomet; a nephew and a niece.
She was preceded in death by his parents.
Gail graduated from Central High School in Champaign, Illinois. She worked as a housekeeper at The Chancellor Hotel, in Champaign, Illinois. She enjoyed attending flea markets and was an avid rock music lover. She enjoyed listening to Billy Idol, KISS, Prince and Kid Rock. Gail enjoyed spending time with her family.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at Blurton Funeral Home, Hoopeston, Illinois. Pastor John Morris will be officiating. Graveside service will follow at Rossville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday June 19, 2018 at the funeral home.
