Inez Lorraine "Aunt Reenie" McBeath

Inez Lorraine "Aunt Rennie" McBeath, 89, of Hoopeston, passed away at 11:45 a.m. Monday, June 12, 2017, at her home.
Mrs. McBeath was born on April 12, 1928, in Rossville, Illinois, the daughter of Clarence L. and Bessie Kathleen (Green) Kelley. She married William Dale McBeath on October 4, 1963, in Hoopeston. He preceded her in death on May 14, 2003.
She is survived by one brother- Steve (Sharon) Kelley of Waynesville, Missouri; seven sisters- Glela Dalrymple of San Bernardino, California, Peg Clem of Hoopeston, Wanda (Carl) Thompson of Paxton, Sally Goodwin of Phoenix, Arizona, Darlene Davis of Norfolk, Virginia, Karen (Don) Meador of Norfolk, Virginia and Vickie Kelley of Hoopeston; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers- Jim, Tom, Danny, Ralph and Russell Kelley and three sisters- Connie Kelley, Cheri Kelley and June Baird.
Mrs. McBeath graduated from Hoopeston Area High School in 1947. She worked at TRW Radio Condenser for 15 years, until 1963. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Hoopeston and the Hoopeston Historical Society. Lorraine enjoyed fishing, sewing, dancing, puzzle books, and going on long car rides with her friend Carolyn Tweedy. She also loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Mrs. McBeath's Life will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2017, at Blurton Funeral Home, with Pastor Tom Cici officiating. Burial will follow the service in Floral Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church or Donor's Choice.
