Jesus "Jesse" P. Palomares

Jesus "Jesse" P. Palomares, 52, of Rantoul, formerly of Florida, passed away at 4:32 p.m. Monday, August 21, 2017, at Carle Foundation Hospital, in Urbana.
Jesse was born on June 2, 1965, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, the son of Hilario and Adela (Perales) Palomares. He married San Juanita Zarate, on June 13, 1987, in Ruskin, Florida. She survives.
He is also survived by his father- Hilario Palomares of Rantoul; two daughters- Janette (Adrian Menchaca) and Jasmine Palomares both of Rantoul; three sons- Jesus ( Jamie Thomas) Palomares, Juan Palomares and Joseph Palomares all of Rantoul; four grandchildren- Janeiza Menchaca, Erin Menchaca, Adilany Palomares and Javian Jesus Palomares; one brother- Hilario (Martina) Palomares Jr. of Ruskin, Florida; one sister- Alicia (Ruben Jimenez) Palomares of Ruskin, Florida; five aunts- Mariana Perales, Maria Perales Urdiales, Rosalinda Perales Zamora, Dolores Medina and Antonia Palomares ; and four uncles- Juan Perales, Daniel Perales Jr. Christopher Perales and Carlos Palomares .
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Jesse worked at Monsanto, in Thomasboro, as a farm laborer. He enjoyed watching football, westling, family cookouts and watching movies with his children. Jesse loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also loved to watch the Miami Dolphins.
A Celebration of Jesus "Jesse" P. Palomares Life will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, August 26, 2017, at the Blurton Funeral Home, in Potomac, with Father Joel Phelps officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home. Following the services cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials may be made to the family. The family has entrusted the Blurton Funeral Home to assist them in honoring Mr. Palomares life.
