John Dean Obituary

John Wiley Dean, 78, of Urbana, passed away at 3:25 p.m. August 6, 2019, at University Rehabilitation Center.

John was born on June 1, 1941, in Champaign, the son of Karl and Bernadine (Clifton) Dean. He is survived by one daughter- Kelly Dean; niece- Mecqui (Theo) Dean-Smith of Danville and Noel (Juli) Dean of Danville; and great-nephew- Dawson Dean of Danville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers- Robert and Karl Dean.

John enjoyed singing, having a good time and he loved going to Las Vegas.

Private family burial was held at Willowbrook Cemetery, in Fisher, Illinois, with Pastor Andy Baker officiating. The family has entrusted the Blurton Funeral Home, in Potomac to assist them with honoring John’s life.
