Linda Sue Leppard

Linda Sue Leppard, 64, of Wellington, passed away at 5:18 a.m. Monday, November 9, 2015, at Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka.
Mrs. Leppard was born on March 6, 1951, in Verona, Kentucky, the daughter of Kimber and Cecile (Schneider) Brewster. She married Bernard "Hank" Leppard on June 28, 1968. He preceded her in death on November 26, 2004.
She is survived by six step-children- Becky, Bernard, Barry, Benny, Brenda and Burt; three nephews- Dewayne Brewster, Darrin Brewster and Josh Brewster; four nieces- Leitha Hartman, Amie Brewster, Bobbi Chandler and Donna Cupples; two great-nieces- Karly Brewster and Caitlin Chandler; four great-nephews- Bryce Kinnaird, Caleb Hartman, Andrew and Allan Finke; and two sisters-in-law- Barb Brewster and Doris Brewster.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter- Paula Kay Leppard, four brothers- Charles Brewster, Robert Brewster, Gene Brewster and David Brewster and two sisters- Rosella Gossett and Brenda Schroeder.
Linda was well known for her love of animals, especially her cats. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, sewing, writing poems, writing riddles and loved being a jokester.
According to her wishes cremation rites will be accorded and burial will follow in Floral Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Hoopeston Animal Shelter.
