Norman Snyder Obituary

Norman Snyder, 64, of Rural Potomac, passed away Friday, March 22, 2019, at OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center, in Urbana.

Norman was born on May 17, 1954, the son of Hugh and Alice (Teeter) Snyder.  He married Connie Lee, in 1974 and later married Wanda Butcher.  She preceded him in death as did his parents.

Norman is survived by two sisters- Alice Montz of Charleston and Clara Titler of Penfield.  He is also survived by two nieces and two nephews- Sheri Pickett of Armstrong, Harlan Dillman of Penfield, Linda Dillman of Rantoul and Travis Dillman of Potomac.  Also surviving are two very special friends-Bob Miles and Emma Jones. 

Norman had several different interests and worked hard at almost everything he did, but his favorite thing to do was farming and traveling from town to town.

According to his wishes cremation rites were accorded.  Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2019, at Blurton Funeral Home, in Potomac.  The family has entrusted the Blurton Funeral Home to assist them in honoring Norman’s life.  Memories or photos may be shared with the family on his everlasting memorial page at: www.BlurtonFuneralHomes.com.
