Raymond L. Thomson

Raymond L. Thomson, 60, of Potomac, passed away at 2:31 P.M., March 22, 2019,  at Heart of Mary Hospital in Champaign, IL.

Mr. Thomson was born June 30, 1958 in Pomona, CA , the son of Lloyd and Helen (Slatterly) Thomson.  He enjoyed dirt track racing and working on cars.  He was a very giving man and helpful to others.

He is survived by a son, Richard Thomson of Potomac, IL, fiancé Marcia Fleming of Potomac, Il.  4 brothers - Robert Thomson of Potomac, IL, James Thomson of Mira Loma, CA, Gary Thomson of Kalispell, Mt, and Bill of GA.  2 sisters, Kathy Thomson of Kalispell, MT, and Cheryl Thomson-Gilbert of SC., several stepchildren and step grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Mary.

A memorial visitation will held from 4-8 P.M. Friday, March 29, 2019, at Blurton Funeral Home, Potomac, IL. He will be laid to rest in Potomac Cemetery at a later date.  Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
