Robin Cox Sr.

Robin Lee Cox Sr., 69, of Hoopeston, passed away at 12:58 a.m. Friday, August 31, 2018, at Hoopeston Carle Regional Health Center.

Mr. Cox was born on March 30, 1949, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Ernest and Betty (Reinberger) Cox.  He married Marlene Churchman on February 14, 2003, at the Hoopeston United Methodist Church.  She survives.

He is survived by one step-daughter- Lynn Kirland of Hoopeston; and one step-son- Jack Michaels of Hoopeston.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son- Robin Cox Jr. and one brother- Gregory Cox.

Robin graduated from high school, in Columbus, Ohio, and later served in the United States Army.  He worked as home healthcare aide for Addus Home Health and as a car detailer at Urich Motors.  He previously attended the Hoopeston United Methodist Church.  He enjoyed lifting weights and collecting items.
