SSGT,
You were such a great leader and a huge asset to our community at MWSS-372. Your contagious smile and happiness and random teachings about old cars & trucks will never be forgotten. It was all the "small talk" that taught us big lessons. You were and are truly a hero and forever a SNCO that we will look up to ! Until we meet again ❤ The gates of heaven just gained one of the BEST Marines.

Heartfelt condolences to the family. I knew David when he was in his teens and we attended the same church. He was a hard worker even at that age. I quite often marveled at his ingenuity. He was a great kid who grew up to be a great man. He will be missed by many people.

Dave was a very good friend of mine. He always knew how to make you laugh and always cared for every person he met. Dave and I met at church camp when we were kids. He was a true gentleman. I remember his fascination with older cars. There are so many memories of bowling with him, my friends and his cousin Alden. I will never forget you Dave!! You hold a special place in my heart!!! Thank you for always being an amazing friend!!!

Love, Brooke (Ramshaw) Barker

David was part of our family, and we were saddened by the loss of David. We know he's a solider of God now and he's looking out for us all. We will miss David and his sense of humour. David was a wonderful person, great uncle, brother, son, friend, as well as a husband. We will miss David, but we will see him again, but until then will keep him in our hearts.

I was saddened to hear of David's passing. As I recalled memories of him while talking to a friend, I can without a doubt say that they were all positive. I went to church with David while I was growing up. He was faithful in his attendance and committed to learning about God. He was always happy. As a teenager, I recalled him working at McDonald's where he would always chat with you when you came through the drive thru and again, always happy and smiling. I pray for all of those affected by his passing and hope you can remember the great memories and the smile for many years to come.

I went to Armstrong Township High School with David. He seemed to always have a smile on his face. My prayers are with the family at this extremely difficult time! Godspeed David!
