Toby Taylor Allison

Toby Taylor Allison, 36, of Alvin, passed away at 7:40 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at Carle Hoopeston Regional Health Center.
Toby was born on July 20, 1979, in Danville, the son of Richard and Barbara (Granillo) Allison. He married Jamie Vance on March 8, 2003, in Tab, Indiana. She survives.
He is also survived by three daughters- Trisdan, Brystal and Jessi Allison all of Danville; two sons- Riley and Garrett Allison of Danville; four brothers- Troy Allison of Rossville, Chad (Nancy) Allison of Alvin, Daniel Allison of Danville and Jeremy (Traci) Allison of Alvin; three sisters- Joanna (Dan Fleming) Allison Stevens of Milford, Karyanna (Jason) Allison Hedgecock of Rossville and Sarah Potter of Milford; paternal grandmother- Georgia Allison of Alvin; father and mother-in-law- James and Cherie Vance of Danville; sister-in-law- Jullie (Dennis) Bond of Mississippi; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather- David M. Allison, maternal grandparents- Antonio and Eleanor Granillo, uncle- Daniel "Boone" Allison and aunt- Donna Allison.
Toby attended Rossville High School and he previously worked at ADM in Tab, Indiana. Toby enjoyed listening to music, cooking, camping, fishing, working on cars and tractors and watching movies with his kids. His greatest love was spending time with his children and Toby was always known for his big heart.
A Celebration of Toby's Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 31, 2015, at the Blurton Funeral Home in Hoopeston, with Father Steven Loftus officiating. Burial will follow the service in Gundy Cemetery in Bismarck. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Blurton Funeral Home in Hoopeston. A rosary service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to his children. The family has entrusted the Blurton Funeral Home to assist them in honoring Toby's life.
