Warren W. Harms Jr., 52, of Hoopeston, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018.
Warren was born on June 11, 1965, in Chicago Heights, Illinois, the son of Warren and Evelyn (Mason) Sass Harms Sr. He married Jerri Smothers on June 30, 1986, in Kankakee, Illinois. She survives.
He is also survived by two daughters- Miranda Harms and Jasmine Harms of Hoopeston; son- Justin Smothers of Hoopeston; six grandchildren; two brothers- Steve (Susie) Harms of Kankakee and Bill (Debbie) Carroll of St. Anne; three sisters- Debbie (Roger) Moody of Kankakee, Chris Denoyer of St. Anne and Kim (Roy) Eilts of Kankakee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Warren worked as a construction worker for several years. He enjoyed traveling, camping, spending time and riding go-carts with his grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018, at the Blurton Funeral Home, in Hoopeston. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Cremation rites have been accorded. The Harms family has requested that any memorials be made to the family of Denise Ried. The family has entrusted the Blurton Funeral Home to assist them.
