Arthur F. Thomas, 76, of Ogden, Illinois passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2019, in his home. 

Arthur was born Oct. 6th, 1942, in Danville, IL., the son of Maurice and Mabel (Kelm) Thomas.  He married Julia Butler June 13, 1965, in Rossville, IL.  

     Arthur is survived by his wife, Julia of Ogden, Bro.-in-law Bill and wife Mary of Bloomington, IL., Sis.-in-law Phyllis Little and fiancé Bill Gilbert of Villa Grove, IL., Nephew Rick Butler of Dallas, TX, and Tim Little of Villa Grove, IL., Nieces Stephanie Hudson of Maple Valley, WA, Katelyn Stites of Bloomington, IL., Madison Butler of Minonk, IL., and Mandy Chesnut and husband Mark of Pesotum, IL.  He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother Robert.

     Arthur earned a master’s degree from the University of Illinois and was a teacher.  He loved woodworking and home projects.  He worked for Prairie Gardens for 11 years making custom frames.

     Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 28, 2019, at Rossville United Methodist Church.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, at the church.
