Crystal Jo Brooks, 63, of Potomac, passed away at 2:45 p.m. Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Carle Foundation Hospital, in Urbana.

Crystal was born on August 22, 1960, in Kankakee, the daughter of Larue and Linda (Muehling) Kottke.  She married Austin Carl Brooks on June 20, 2020, in Potomac.  He survives.

She is also survived by her mother; brother- Kent Kottke of Buckley; and sister- Darlene Reardon of Rossville.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Crystal graduated from Buckley-Loda High School.  She attended the Potomac Church of Christ.  She enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes.  Crystal also enjoyed sending cards out to everyone for birthdays and holidays.
