Delores “June” Sollars, 90, of Urbana, passed away at 3:43 a.m. Sunday, October 29, 2023, at Accolade Healthcare of Paxton.

June was born on November 4, 1932, in Indiana, the daughter of Lester and Velma (Tharp) Romoser.  She married Donald E. Sollars on June 8, 1972.  He preceded her in death on July 1, 2008.

She is survived by two sons- Dan (Jill) Henderson of Royal, Illinois and David (Pattilee) Henderson of Cary, North Carolina; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son- Mike Henderson, two brothers- Dale Romoser and Raymond Holler and step-daughter- Jane Sollars.

June retired from Hyster, in Danville.  She was a member of the Hope United Church of Christ, where she was an organist for 50 years and treasurer for 25 years.   She enjoyed playing the organ, writing poetry, doing art, bowling in her younger years and spending time with her grandchildren.
