Frank August Morin

Frank August Morin, 67, of Hoopeston, passed away at 12:49 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.

Frank was born on May 23, 1955, in Danville, Illinois, the son of Archie Andrews and Catherine Butts.  He married Connie Ball on November 5, 1977, in Danville.

He is survived by his wife Connie Morin of Hoopeston; three children- Chad Robert Morin of Bloomington, Indiana, Amber Elizabeth Morin of Hoopeston and Jaimee Lee Morin of Pasadena, Texas; three grandchildren- Kyra Cundiff, Cassandra Morin-Arthur and Damien Morin; great granddaughter- Adeline Arthur and one more on the way; sister- Barbara Gail Huffman of Peoria, Illinois; two nephews- Kyle Robert Huffman of Des Moines, Iowa and Andrew Caleb Huffman of Vienna, Austria; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Frank graduated from Danville High School in 1974 and later attended DACC.  He worked for over 20 years as a Stanley Steamer business owner, in Bloomington, Indiana, until his retirement in 1990.  Frank was a member of the Danville Assembly of God.  He enjoyed woodworking, doing yard work, listening to music and was always known for being a hard worker.

According to his wishes cremation rites will be accorded.  A Celebration of Frank’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 20th, 2023, at the Sidell Pentecostal Assembly, with Pastor Tim Pearman officiating.  The family has entrusted the Blurton Funeral Home, in Hoopeston, to assist them in honoring Frank’s life.  Condolences may be shared with the family on his everlasting memorial page at: www.BlurtonFuneralHomes.com.
