James M. Edwards, 84, of Attica, Indiana, formerly of Danville, passed away at 1:50 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2025, at The Waters of Covington.

He was born on June 20, 1940, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the son of Charles Clarence and Betty E. (Bunn) Edwards.  He married Donna Shaffer on December 8, 1970, in Tuscola, Illinois.  She preceded him in death on October 6, 2021.

He is survived by two sons- Eric (Reginia) Cales of Covington, Indiana and Brian (Cecily) Edwards of Springfield, Illinois; daughter- Barbara Doyle of Slidell, Louisiana; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother and son-in-law- Pat Doyle.

James worked for 25 years at General Motors, in Tilton, until his retirement.  He enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, camping and playing video games and Magic the Gathering.
