Jenette Lea Horner Obituary

Jenette “Jenny” Lea Horner, 66, of Potomac, formerly of Atascadero, California, passed away at 12:09 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 2021, at her home.

Jenny was born on August 10, 1955, in Oak Harbor, Washington, the daughter of Daniel and Esther (Byers) Barra. 

She is survived by her significant other- Merle Brandt of Potomac; son- Steve (Alissa) Ewing of Anaheim, California; nine grandchildren; and two sisters- Cheryl (William) Vrba of Menifee, California and Peri (Dean) Boyd of Clarksville, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son- Trevor Horner and brother- Randy Barra.

Jenny worked as a hairdresser and at Lowes, in the paint department, while she was living in California. She loved to cook and going out to eat.  Jenny loved having a good time and enjoyed dancing and singing.  Her favorite saying was always “Rough and tough and hard to bluff and not afraid to die”.

According to her wishes cremation rites will be accorded and there are not any services scheduled at this time.  The family has entrusted the Blurton Funeral Home, in Potomac, to assist them in honoring Jenny’s life.  Condolences may be shared with the family on her everlasting memorial page at:  www.BlurtonFuneralHomes.com.
