Johnny Douglas Ault

Johnny Douglas Ault, born August 2, 1962, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 23, 2019.  Doug is the son of John Ault and Rosie Mae Vaughn.

Doug is survived by his father, John Ault, of Rossville, IL, his sister, Debbie Ault of Panama City Beach, Florida and brother, David (Bridget) Ault, of Rossville, IL, a niece Brittney (Zach) Hagley, of Bismarck, IL, two nephews Jacob and Jeremiah Ault, of Rossville, IL and a great niece, Raelynn and a great nephew, Alec, along with many special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Doug is preceded in death by his mother Rose, who was called home to be with the Lord just 6 days prior.

Doug began working with his father who owned and operated Ault’s Sanitary Hauling, in Champaign.  Doug was employed a number of years as a Crew Leader at Varsity Striping, in Champaign.  When Doug moved to Arizona he spent time as a site manager with rental properties in Show Low, Arizona before returning to Illinois.  He was currently employed at Gayle Frerichs Trucking, in Covington, IN, where in a very short time he gained the admiration and respect of everyone who crossed his path.

Doug enjoyed life and was mostly known for his big heart.  He was willing to help out any person who had a need.  He loved and trusted in the Lord and will be greatly missed.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2019, at Morningstar Church, in Rossville, with Pastor Dan Mikel officiating.  Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, at the church.  He will be laid to rest following the services in Manns Chapel Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Morningstar Church.  The family has entrusted the Blurton Funeral Home to assist them in honoring Doug’s life.  Memories or photos may be shared with the family on his everlasting memorial page at:  www.BlurtonFuneralHomes.com.
