June A. Williams, 69, of Vandalia, IL, passed away the afternoon of Monday, December 04, 2023, at her home in rural Vandalia.

Per June’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life, honoring both June and her husband, Greg will be held for close family and friends at 3:00 PM, Sunday, May 19, 2024, at Crown Point Church, rural Vandalia. Public visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00-3:00 PM, at the church. Interment will be held at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, at a later date. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to St. Peter Sportsman’s Club - Gatch Lake or KVS Club Inc, where he was a devout member. June Ann Rader was born on December 01, 1954, in Vandalia, IL, the daughter of Ervin Edward “Red” & Betty June (Merrill) Rader. She married Gregory Mark Williams on February 04, 1978. Together they celebrated 45 years of marriage and raised two children.

June was a seamstress; last employed by Medline Industries Inc., Vandalia. She cherished the moments spent with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. June was a lover of nature; enjoying her time around the home appreciating all animals. She often spent her evenings feeding and watching the birds and had an avid love for all cows.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, Greg Williams; daughter, Elizabeth & husband Nate Rittis; mother-in-law, Shirley Williams; all of Vandalia; daughter-in-law, Krissy Williams of St. Rose; sister, JoAnn (Rader) Williams; grandchildren, Ryker Emerick, Preston Emerick, Samantha Rittis, & Bentley Williams; extended family & friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Anthony Mark “Tony” Williams; father-in-law, John Williams; and sisters, Connie June Rader & Barbara Ann (Rader) Brookshier.
