Linda Sue Nosler, 71, of Hoopeston, passed away at 1:14 a.m. Thursday, February 27, 2025, at her home surrounded by family.

She was born on October 15, 1953, in Danville, the daughter of David “Jack” and Louis “Lucille” (Polson) Nosler. 

She is survived by her daughter- Amy Nosler of Hoopeston; son- Tim Nosler of Hoopeston; grandchildren- Ryan, Devon and Joel Nosler and Bella Cordova; great-grandchildren- Onisty, Oden and Owen Nosler and Onex Baker; brother- David (Debbie) Nosler of Florida; sister- Lois (Jim Rusk) Cox of Westville; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Linda graduated from Hoopeston-East Lynn High School in 1971.  She worked at Con Agra, in Rensselaer, IN for several years and most recently at McDonalds in Hoopeston.  She enjoyed watching Illinois Basketball, mushroom hunting, crocheting and enjoying a cold beer at The Pump.

A Celebration of Linda’s Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at the Blurton Funeral Home, in Hoopeston.  Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  According to her wishes cremation rites will be arranged following the services.  The family has entrusted the Blurton Funeral Home to assist them in honoring Linda’s life.  Condolences may be shared with the family on her everlasting memorial page at: www.BlurtonFuneralHomes.com.
