Lisa M. Bitzel

Lisa M. Bitzel, 61, of Hoopeston, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Carle Hoopeston Regional Health Center.

She was born on April 27, 1965, in Watseka, Illinois, to Ronald and Janet (Calhoun) Doan.

She is survived by her father, Ronald Doan of El Paso, Texas; her two sons, Shawn Bitzel of Crescent City, Illinois, and Brad (Ashley) Schrock of Terre Haute, Indiana; and two grandchildren, Shaylyn and Ayla Schrock.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Janet Doan, and her brother, Ronald Calhoun.

Lisa enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and beloved dog, Duke.
