Marilyn Rosa Phillips, 63, of Hoopeston, passed away at 5:14 a.m. Saturday, August 4, 2018, at home.

Marilyn was born on January 17, 1955, in Lafayette, Indiana, the daughter of Orville and Thelma Christmas Britt.  She married Robert Phillips, in 1989, in Lafayette, Indiana.  He preceded her in death in 2005.

She is survived by one son- Curtis Dalton of Lafayette; four grandchildren- Cody Dalton, Haley Dalton, Gavin Dalton and Sierra (Kyle) Davis; one great-grandchild on the way; one brother- Ronnie Britt of Indiana; and two sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and one sister.

Marilyn enjoyed cooking, playing computer games, word puzzles and sewing.
