Pamela D. (Ward) Reid

Pamela D. Reid, 69, of Muncie, passed away at 7:13 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Carle Foundation Hospital, in Urbana.

Pam was born on November 5, 1954, in Urbana, Illinois, the daughter of Wayne E. and Norma Jean (Gifford) Ward.  She is survived by two daughters- Jessica Lutz of Potomac and Sierra Morgan of Muncie; one son- Travis Reid of Calvert City, Kentucky; seven grandchildren- Xavier Williams, Bentley Tester, Natalie Learned, Miles Learned, Gabriel Learned, Brison Spindler and Kyler Spindler; two brothers- Wayne “Bud” (Karla) Ward Jr. of Mahomet and Roger Ward of Potomac; one sister- Donna (Mike) Lutz of Sidell; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter- Bobbie Morgan and grandson- Tristin Spindler.

Pam graduated from St. Joseph/Ogden High School, in 1972.  She worked as a florist at Donna’s Flower Shop, in Potomac.  Pam enjoyed cooking, doing crafts, making floral arrangements and being with her grandchildren.

According to her wishes cremation rites will be arranged and a memorial service will be held at a later date.  The family has entrusted the Blurton Funeral Home, in Potomac, to assist them in honoring Pam’s life.  Condolences may be shared with the family on her everlasting memorial page at: www.BlurtonFuneralHomes.com.
