Ralph Edward Wombles III

Ralph Edward Wombles III, 63, of Fairmount, passed away on September 1, 2023, at Carle Foundation Hospital, in Urbana.

Ralph was born on February 14, 1960, in Danville, Illinois, the son of Ralph Edward Wombles II and Sandra (Wells) Kiser.  He was previously married to Brenda Johnson of Pacifica, California.  She survives.

He is also survived by two daughters- Autum (Lori Walbaly) Wombles and Alexzandria both of Danville; four grandchildren- Bryce, Kaleb, Stephanie and Rayleigh Block; three great-grandchildren- Kinsleigh, Micheal and Grant Block; five brothers- Steven Wombles of Homer, Brian Wombles of Tilton, Mike (Stacey) Wombles of Fithian, Brad (Jean Trees) Wombles of Oakwood and Bob (Tina) Nichols of Ridge Farm; one sister- Rebecca (Mike) Wombles-Akins of Henning; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law- Janet Wombles, maternal and paternal grandparents, and several other loved ones.

Ralph was the owner and operator of R&S Construction, for several years.  He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting, listening to rock and roll music, and watching NASCAR.
