Randall Lee Withers, 51, of Rankin, passed away at 7:00 a.m. Sunday, October 14, 2018.

Randy was born on September 19, 1967, in Champaign, Illinois, the son of Leonard and Janis (Frye) Withers.

He is survived by his mother-Janis Withers of Rankin; one daughter- Ruby Withers of Carterville, Illinois; and several aunts, uncles, nephews and great-nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father and brother- Leonard “Jeff” Withers.

Randy graduated from Rankin High School and attended Danville Junior College and SIU-Carbondale.  He enjoyed watching football, basketball and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.  Randy also enjoyed fishing, working on cars and spending time with family and friends.

According to his wishes cremation rites have been accorded.  Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 20, 2018, at Partlow Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.  The family has entrusted the Blurton Funeral Home to assist them in honoring Randy’s life.  Memories or photos may be shared with the family on his everlasting memorial page at:  www.blurtonfuneralhomes.com.
