Robert “Bob” E. Warren Sr., 80, of Georgetown, passed away at 11:50 p.m. Friday, November 26, 2021, at his home.

Bob was born on September 6, 1941, on Hawks Mountain in North Springfield, Vermont, the son of James R. and Verna (Kendall) Warren. He married Peggy Devore on July 24, 1965, in Georgetown, Illinois. She survives.

He will be deeply missed by one daughter - Shelley (Richard) Peelman of Georgetown; two sons - Robert (Carol) Warren Jr. of Tampa, Florida and Michael (Leah) Warren of Georgetown; grandchildren - Ryan (JoEllyn) Peelman of Monrovia, Indiana, Aaron Peelman of Monrovia, Indiana and Justin Warren of Georgetown; great-granddaughter - Beatrix Peelman; sister- Rose Stone of East Arlington, Vermont; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother - Russell Warren and sister - Katre Cole.

Bob served in the United States Air Force from 1960 to 1965 as an aircraft electrician. He was the owner/operator of Bob Warren Sweeper Sales and Service for close to 40 years, where he loved meeting people and telling his stories! He was a member of the Southside Church of Christ, and member of Russell Masonic Lodge #154 in Georgetown. Bob also enjoyed gardening, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family.

According to his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded, and there are not any services scheduled at this time. Memorials may be made in Bob’s name to the Southside Church of Christ or the American Cancer Society. The family has entrusted the Blurton Funeral Home in Potomac to assist them in honoring Bob’s life.
