William Wayne Bogard Obituary

William “Bogie” Wayne Bogard, 58, of Hoopeston, passed away at 6:48 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Carle Foundation Hospital, in Urbana.

He was born on January 3, 1966, in Danville, the son of Harold “Dean” and Marsha (Seiters) Bogard.  He married Janet Lindsey on October 10, 2009, in Hoopeston.  She survives.

He is also survived by two sons- Brandon Eades of Hoopeston and Matthew Grubaugh of Tilton; daughter- Carlie Bogard of Hoopeston; granddaughter- Abbie Eades; two brothers- Bryan Bogard of Hoopeston and Robert (Cinnamon) Bogard of Lockport, Illinois; sister- Rebecca (Amy) Bogard of Hoopeston; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson- Breyden Eades.

He graduated from Hoopeston-East Lynn High School, in 1984.  He worked for several years as a truck driver, until his retirement.  Bogie enjoyed his CB radio, building guitars, building plastic models, listening to music and watching TV.

According to his wishes cremation rites will be arranged and there are not any services scheduled at this time.  The family has entrusted the Blurton Funeral Home, in Hoopeston, to assist them in honoring William’s life.  Condolences may be shared with the family on his everlasting memorial page at:  www.BlurtonFuneralHomes.com.
