Uncle Dale was the definition of class. His laugh was infectious and his humor was always present. Watching the video today brought back so many wonderful memories. I wish I could have been there today to celebrate his life. He truly got the most out of life and touched many. Thoughts and prayers to the entire family.

He always seemed to be very happy and enjoying life. I remember seeing him at the East Lynn High School Alumni banquet in 2010 when he and my mom (Lorraine Wilson) were celebrating their 70th year out of high school. They graduated in 1940. My mom and Dale enjoyed the evening together as the remembered their days going to school together at East Lynn. He had his green jacket on that evening. I use to play with you, Mary Jane, when you would come to visit your Grandma, Myrtle Hammerton, in East Lynn. Loved the video - so many wonderful times you had with him as your dad and with your family. Great picture of his last birthday of 94 on St. Patrick's day. He still looked very happy. May he rest in peace and have eternal happiness now as he joins his wife, Alice, and his son, David. My sympathy to you Mary Jane. May God comfort you in your loss. Diane (Wilson) Rogers
