Special lady. I was a new kid to the neighbor hood back in 1985 and the first people to greet me were Clyde and Juanita. Clyde drove up to my house and just like we new each other for years and yells out his little pick up window "did you here the one about the" joke and I had to laugh and felt at ease immediately with them and when I walked up to them in the pick up Juanita had a gift basket that she gave to me. From that day forward even with the difference of age I considered them friends and spent several moments just visiting with them in their breezeway having a cold drink and good conversation( with jokes of course ) and enjoy the time. Not enough time. Clyde has been missed and now Juanita will be missed, but they will be with each other again, a time that they both looked forward to.

I am blessed to have known and shared so many memories with Jusnita and Clyde for over thirty years. Our visits to their home and theirs to New Orleans. They were so gracious and endearing. My last visit with her was a couple of years ago and she was as the first time I met her, joyful and loving. Rest in peace my friend.
